A New Background

I've changed my background again. Since Diabetes runs in my family, I figured this would be a nice one to display. Tell me what ya think.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to the families & friends of the two crew members from a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet that were killed in central Afghanistan today.

Help...We're in Doggy Jail!!!!

"Can you bail us out of jail?" LOL
Here's Kanoa (white german shepherd/samoyed) & Makana (black & tan german shepherd) enjoying the new deck. Until we get our backyard fenced in, this is the most unleashed outside time that they get. The deck also has a gate, so to keep the girls & Hunter on the deck without getting away.

Beautiful Smelling Flowers

Here's some pics of my flowers that I have sitting next to our new deck. They have bloomed a lot in the past week and as of today (17July) there's only 1 bloom left on the black container still to bloom. All the blooms in the blue container have already bloomed. The flowers smell sooooo good. Sometime this weekend I'll take some more pics of the flowers and I'll post them here for ya to see. Also this weekend, I'll be adding some pics of Hunter playing in his sandbox and pics of our dogs Kanoa & Makana enjoying the new deck.
Have a fun & safe weekend!!!

RIP WALTER CRONKITE 1917-2009

Sending my thoughts & prayers to his family & friends at this time. He will surely be missed.

New Background

Well, I'm experimenting with new backgrounds for my blog and I think I've found a cool one so far. Since I'm a huge Steelers fan, I figured this would be a perfect on. I found this background in the "guy stuff blogger templates" at http://www.pyzam.com/ . The only thing I don't like about the background is the orange bar towards the top with all the info junk from pyzam. But I guess I'll deal with it now, until I change it in the future.

Justin & Hunter having fun!!!

My Boyz

Here's my awesome boys, Justin - 13 & Hunter - 2. They bring so much joy to my life that I couldn't be here on this Earth if it wasn't for them.
Justin will be in 8th grade this next school year which starts on August 20th. He will be playing football again this year, which he has done for the past 3 years. His first year out, which was around 5th grade, they won they division championship and they all got a trophy.
It's hard to believe but at the age of 13, Justin is already taller than me. I'm 5'6" and he's at least 5'10", so for now only Hunter is the shortest one in the family. I think Justin is going to be tall like his dad, Darren is 6'1".
Hunter has a really nice babysitter named Josie that he goes to 5 days a week, while I work. She lives in the same town where I work, so if there's any problems or if I want to go have lunch with him, I can just go and be there with him. Hunter is growing like a weed and he's currently in the infamous "NO" phase. Everything you ask him to do is thrown back with a big NO. Hopefully this phase doesn't last long. I can't remember how long Justin's NO phase lasted. So for now, I guess I'll just have to take it day by day.
The other night I was watching TV and I was watching an episode of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" on the Oxygen channel and it was showing their 2 year old son Liam in his "NO" phase and I could totally relate to what they were going through. They may be famous celebrities and make more money than me, but they go through some of the same issues as you and I. So it's kinda good to relate with them when it comes to family.
Well this is a good start for my blog, so I will close for now. Take care and God bless.
Just remember, SUPPORT OUR TROOPS HOME & ABROAD!!!! Also, if you ever see a service man or woman or even a military vet, please shake their hand and tell them "Thank you for serving our country!!!!" They don't get much appreciation and acknowledgement because some people don't approve of our current military situations. If it wasn't for their wanting to join the military and the many sacrifices that they have to make, you and I wouldn't be enjoying our freedoms that we do have and sometimes take granted for, such as being connected to the world via the Internet and being able to read my blog. ;o)
